At TenetPay, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email, password), property information, tenant data, payment details processed via Stripe, and communications through our platform. We also collect usage data, device information, and cookies to improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, send transactional emails (payment reminders, maintenance updates), provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) service providers who help us operate the platform (Stripe for payments, AWS for hosting, Resend for email), (b) when required by law or legal process, and (c) with your explicit consent.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption, encrypted database storage, regular security audits, multi-factor authentication, and SOC 2 compliant infrastructure. However, no system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use strong passwords.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active and for 30 days after termination to allow data export. Certain data may be retained longer as required by law (e.g., financial records). You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including: access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data (right to be forgotten), data portability, and objection to processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@tenetpay.com.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and security, and analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our platform. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.
8. International Transfers
TenetPay operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries. For users in the EU/EEA, we comply with GDPR requirements and use Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
